Downsman 2017 will be the 50th running of the Sussex Downsman Hike. It will also be the 16th Downsman run by the current organisers and they have decided that this event would be a good time for them to retire and let someone else take over this great event.
The organisers operate as an Active Support Unit and are currently managed by Richard Sullivan, so as well as people to help with the general organisation, we are also looking for someone to take on this unit manager role and build on Richard’s success.
This is a SASU manager role so will require you to undertake training to a Wood Badge level.

- Are you passionate about keeping a much loved County event going?
Ideally we need someone who will focus solely on this role and be able to shadow Richard as he plans the next and his final one (50th anniversary) to be held on October 2017.
