The search for Assistant County Youth Commissioners begins!!

If your an enthusiastic young person who is passionate about youth shaped scouting then the County Youth Commissioners want to hear from you!!

We’re recruiting 2 new assistants to work in partnership with us. One assistant will focus on events and the other will look at youth shaped support. You’ll be key at helping West Sussex grow, help us stay connected to young people and ensure young people have a say and shape their Scouting. Assistant County Commissioner – Awards

Help our young people achieve their potential as the new ACC Awards.

We are seeking to appoint someone who is enthusiastic about promoting the top youth awards in Scouting and understands how they develop young people to achieve their full potential.

This new ACC role is part of the County Management Team and will be responsible for the management of County Awards events and supporting other commissioners in the promotion and effective operation of the 14-25 (Chief Scout’s Diamond, Chief Scout’s Platinum, Queen’s Scout, Explorer Belt, Scout’s of the World and Duke of Edinburgh’s) Awards.

Assistant County Commissioner – Scout Network

Network_CMYK_black_stackJoin us as we start the Scout Network Reboot!

We are seeking to appoint someone who is enthusiastic about supporting the growth and development of the Scout Network section as we embark on our Network Reboot.

This new ACC role is part of the County Management Team and will be responsible for the effective operation of the Scout Network section across West Sussex. Initially you’ll support District Commissioners to appoint District Scout Network Commissioners (DSNC) and then support the delivery of a DSNC Induction Day on 23rd January 2016. Your focus will then turn to the ongoing support of DSNCs as they embark on the creation of new Scout Networks or rebooting existing Networks into the refreshed Network programme and structure.
